Nicole Talbot, D.O.
I am a family practice physician, board-certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. Although I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of hormone imbalance, I treat patients of all ages with any type of acute and chronic ailment. I have a strong vision for healthcare, and strive to obtain optimal results for my patients.
My primary focus is to address the organic cause of disease or illness. I strive to find remedies that solve the issue rather than masking symptoms. Although prescription medications are beneficial in some cases, simply adjusting your diet, adding nutritional supplements and exercising, may often times be all that is needed to gain optimal health. |
Educating my patients on their treatment and diagnosis is an imperative part of their care. Developing a close involvement ensures the patient has the confidence and assurance to incorporate the knowledge and improve their health. We work together on an individualized plan of care to achieve long-term good health. Being proactive in assuring that patients return for requested care has proven to improve and maintain their overall health outcome.
Becoming certified in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in 2009 was an integral part of aiding my patients with hormonal imbalances. Many men and women suffer from the symptoms of peri-menopause, menopause and andropause, often called “male menopause”. A customized therapy can relieve symptoms and give the body lasting relief, allowing the body to function normally again.
My initial medical training was at Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center in Iowa, followed by family medicine residency and internship at Rapid City Regional Hospital in South Dakota. Upon graduation in 2005, I chose to open my practice in the small Texas town of Seguin. Continuing my education through medical courses, seminars, conferences and hands-on training assures that my patients receive the highest quality of medical care.
