​​I came on board with Seguin Family Medicine in 2011, finding my niche in the billing department.  I have delved into many facets of the medical field, but find my passion in medical billing.  Policies and regulations are ever-changing, which keeps things very exciting.  

​I took an at-home medical billing course in 2000, and went on to receive my Medical Assistant (MA) certification in 2004.  Having the additional MA medical training is very helpful when researching insurance claims.  I am the patient’s advocate when dealing with their insurance companies, and strive to ensure that insurance claims are paid correctly.  ​
