WHAT IS IT?
Microblading is a form of tattooing. Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading uses a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Pigment is implanted under your skin, by drawing hair-like strokes with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows. The pigment is not implanted as deep as a regular tattoo.
PREPARE
Avoid Retinol, blood thinners, aspirin, and alcohol for one week prior to treatment. Retinol makes your skin thin and can cause you to bleed a little more.
DOES IT HURT?
We'll prep your brows with topical numbing cream prior to your treatment. Typically, it feels like little scratches. Some feel it more than others.
TIME
Your initial treatment will take about 2 hours.
AFTERCARE
Protect your freshly bladed brows from all moisture - no sweaty workouts or washing your face with water until your healing is complete. After healing, you can rub them and enjoy swimming. You might experience itching and redness during the first week. Vaseline can relieve these symptoms. Your brows might look slightly darker at first, but the color will fade 30 to 40 percent.
RESULTS
We typically have you return for touch-ups every six months.
