Michele Jackson, FNP-C
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Board of Nursing. My scope of practice includes health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis and management of common and complex health care issues.
I joined Seguin Family Medicine in 2014, coming on-board with over 12 years of nursing experience in a hospital care setting, including medical-surgical and emergency room care. My philosophy in healthcare is patterned after Imogene King’s Theory of Goal Attainment. Together, the patient and I set goals for their health and work to achieve that goal. Assisting, education, and providing patients with the proper tools, empowers them to make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain wellness. |
My nursing career began in 2002 with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree at the College of Eatern Utah. I went on to further my nursing career as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2007, obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas HealthScience Center at San Antonio School of Nursing. In August 2013, I completed the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing.
